Educational Technology Coaching
I work with teachers to help them integrate technology more effectively into instruction and students' learning experiences. I facilitate after school workshops on activities such as Google Docs, Gradebook, Photo Editing, and specific programs used in our school such as Myon and Dreambox. I also provide individual guidance when requested. I work with a group of second graders from five different classrooms, helping them to become 'Student Tech Leaders' so that they can help their classmates log into and use Chromebooks. I create short how-to tutorial videos for tasks such as copying and pasting, taking screenshots, organizing Google Drive, etc. Finally, I'm working with our district's literacy coaches to translate our professional development program, "Foundations of Reading" into an interactive online model.
